Outside Sales Representative - Orchard Park, NY

About the role

Buffalo Biodiesel Inc. is in growth mode and currently seeking Outside Sales Representatives to join our team! This position will work within Orchard Park, NY and the surrounding areas. Buffalo Biodiesel is seeking Outside Sales Representatives to build relationships and canvass entities with deep fryers to contract for the purchase of their used cooking oils. This role is technically a purchasing/business development role. There is no customer service or order taking in this position. No expectations to work holidays or long weekends.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with entities that have deep fryers.
• Canvass target locations to contract for the purchase of used cooking oil.
• Act as a purchasing/business development representative (no customer service or order taking).

Qualifications/Requirements

• Undergraduate degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of successful cold‑calling experience.
• 2 years of door‑to‑door experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean motor‑vehicle report.
• Hard‑working, reliable, and drug‑free.
• Ability to travel to Canada as required.
• Bilingual ability in Arabic, Spanish, Chinese, Cantonese, Hindi, or Bengali is a bonus.

Pay

• Base pay of $70,000 per year.
• Bonus pay of $0.10 per gallon collected when quota is met.
• Representatives can earn 1× to 2× their base salary in bonuses, with motivated reps able to exceed six figures.

Schedule

• Canvass locations within a 1.5‑hour drive from your designated area or depot.
• Mandatory hours: first stop by 9 a.m., last stop after 4 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday.
• Thursday: first stop by 2 p.m., last stop after 10 p.m.
• Average work week: 50+ hours, Monday‑Friday.
