Responsibilities
- Travel throughout the assigned geographical territory (including overnight 1-2 nights/week) calling on existing and prospective customers, soliciting/enriching buying relationships, and increasing territory purchase volume.
- Promote products and services through consultative selling techniques while pursuing a strengthened understanding of customer business practices.
- Manage profitability through negotiation of trade discounts based on purchase volume and other factors in compliance with predetermined trade discount guidelines.
- Prepare required reports on customer, marketplace, and competitor data to make internal departments aware of product and service needs.
Requirements
- College degree
- 3+ years of successful field sales experience in a manufacturing environment
- Goal-driven
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Proficient with MS Office software
