Responsibilities
- Establishes, cultivates, and protects the dealer relationship and buyer relationship with assigned customers.
- Cultivates customer strategies in support of delivering superior value to customers and growing wallet-share and profitability.
- Uses market knowledge, relationships, and growing experience to seek out opportunities with new and existing customers for Distribution's full range of products.
- Gathers market intelligence and translates it into valuable input to drive decisions around product mix, pricing, inventory levels and demand outlook.
- Develops and executes marketing and communication plans with customers, including promotions, specials, market pull through activities, and updates to products/pricing/service.
Requirements
- Proven success supporting large and complex accounts, including building and maintaining key customer relationships, informing programs and promotions, and negotiating solutions to enhance profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communications skills (authentic, adaptive, persuasive).
- Analyzes the customer's business and develops solutions leveraging Distribution products and services.
- Successfully collaborates within a team environment and reaches across organizational and functional boundaries.
- Experience with building materials products.
- Familiarity with Distribution Center's products, their selling features/benefits, and the competitive products around them.
Qualifications
- Minimum HS Diploma/GED
- 3+ years’ experience in building materials distribution sales

Pay
This role is eligible for an annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $69,000 - $104,000 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience.
