About the role

The Imaging & Biomedical Sales Representative partners with Capital Equipment Sales, Customer Service, and Field Service teams to generate sales leads for Avante's Biomedical Engineering Solutions products and services within the designated territory. This role requires generating sales leads, meeting and exceeding sales objectives, identifying new business opportunities, and providing value-added services to customers.

Responsibilities

  • Generate sales leads for Avante's Biomedical Engineering Solutions products and services within the designated territory
  • Maintain and increase sales volume within assigned accounts and territory
  • Meet and exceed assigned quota and sales objectives
  • Close new business opportunities and convert accounts from competition
  • Work closely with current customers to recommend value-added services
  • Manage sales pipeline per company’s protocol
  • Create business through “warm calls” by connecting existing customers with expanded services or products
  • Target strategic accounts to drive incremental growth opportunities
  • Keep up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service call logs and internal service records
  • Use data and analytics to identify opportunities
  • Attend Trade Shows and Strategic Customer meetings as agreed upon
  • Follow established procedures to resolve readily identifiable technical problems
  • Collaborate with all departments as internal customers
  • Adhere to all company employment policies and safe practices
  • Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per ISO:13485 2016 standards and the Company's Quality Management System
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Marketing, Business or related field
  • At least two (2) years of professional work experience required; strongly prefer documented inside/outside sales success in a competitive, sophisticated environment with tangible products (i.e. medical supplies/devices, office equipment, etc.)
  • Documented track record for meeting or exceeding sales objectives
  • Documented history of exceeding customer expectations without compromising company values
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively solicit and explain difficult concepts all the while moving the sales process to closure

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Position is performed partially in a workplace office and/or home-office environment with standard office equipment (computer and phone), partially on the road travelling to customer sites, and partially at various types of medical facilities meeting with customers face-to-face.
