Outside Sales Representative - Electrical Power Products

We are a manufacturers' representative firm specializing in electrical products for power reliability and power generation. We represent leading electrical equipment manufacturers and help utilities, contractors, engineers, and end users find the right solutions for their critical power needs.

About the role

We are looking for a self-motivated Outside Sales Representative with an electrical background to grow our presence in the Maryland / Virginia territory. This is a 100% commission role, ideal for someone who wants to build their own territory and be rewarded directly for results. An engineering degree is not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow relationships with electrical contractors, distributors, engineers, utilities, and end users in your territory
• Promote and sell represented electrical product lines for power reliability and power generation applications
• Prospect for new business, identify opportunities, and manage a pipeline from lead to close
• Work with manufacturers on quotes, pricing, and technical support for customer applications
• Attend customer meetings, site visits, trade events, and lunch-and-learns
• Maintain accurate records of accounts and opportunities

Qualifications

• Electrical background required (electrical sales, electrical contracting, distribution, power generation, UPS/switchgear, or similar)
• Outside sales or territory sales experience preferred
• Comfortable with a 100% commission compensation structure
• Self-starter who can work independently and manage their own territory
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Based in or near the Maryland / Virginia area; valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally

Pay

100% commission with uncapped earning potential; estimated on-target earnings of $80,000 – $150,000+ per year.
