Outside Sales Representative - Decatur

Responsibilities

  • Identify, contact, and qualify new prospects.
  • Respond to customer calls.
  • Track and follow up on existing quotes.
  • Aid in project execution tasks such as answering questions about administration, delivery, or invoicing.
  • Maintain a safe work environment.
  • Communicate frequently with the customer.
  • Prepare and submit activity reports and forecasts as requested.
  • Update and maintain the CRM database to include customer account contact information, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, past and future sales activities, and any relevant notes about the account's business opportunity.
  • Maintain all prospective customer data in the CRM database and use the information contained therein as the sole source for prospective customers and interactions.
  • Stay within prescribed budgetary cost requirements.
  • Participate in all safety meetings.
  • Assist in driving a continuous improvement strategy within the business to result in ongoing incremental gains in quality and efficiency.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A highly motivated sales professional who can operate within the guidelines assigned.
  • High energy with a customer service attitude is a must.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and persuasion skills.
  • A positive professional attitude.
  • Proficient level of computer skills, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrate competence and fearless ability to perform cold calls and prospecting.
  • Advanced networking and relationship development skills.
  • Comfortable with Consultative and/or Enterprise Sales Techniques.
  • Have advanced selling skills.
  • Able to forecast and manage various opportunities/prospects simultaneously.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possess decision-making, problem-resolution, and creative thinking skills.
  • Able to multitask activities with shifting priorities.
