Outside Sales Representative - Construction Rental Equipment

About the role

Milton Rents (division of Milton CAT) is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to market, promote and profitably provide equipment, materials and services to existing and potential customers. Responsibilities

• Make on-site sales calls to existing customers on a frequent, ongoing basis
• Make on-site sales calls to new potential customers on a frequent, ongoing basis
• Utilize referrals and leads to find new customers / opportunities
• Coordinate sales and rentals through personnel at the front counter
• Work to resolve any outstanding issues to the mutual satisfaction of the customer and the company
• Generate activity reports as requested by management
• Obtain and update customer information as requested by management
• Complete and submit all paperwork in the proper timeframes

Qualifications

• A high-school diploma or GED is required
• 3 years of successful, documented Outside Sales experience in equipment rental or a related industry is preferred
• Valid Driver License
• Working knowledge of operating capabilities of Construction Rental Equipment
• Working knowledge of construction materials and their applications
• Self-motivated with excellent time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pay

$1,100-$1,650 per week depending on experience.
