RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute a business plan that will establish activity levels and target account acquisitions for the upcoming year to allow you to achieve your sales goals.
- Build margin in proposals leveraging our product lines, installation, and pre-finishing capabilities into a competitive package.
- Focus on new account acquisition, establishing relationship with Architects, General Contractors, Construction Managers, Developers, and Property Owners.
- Relentlessly pursue all projects open for competitive bids and turn quoted projects into committed business.
- Use trade shows, association meetings, and events sponsored by related Commercial and Trade Organizations to build a network of relationships and a reputation within the commercial community.
- Continually update and leverage knowledge of Pella and competitor products.
- Always exhibit the highest standard of personal ethics and adhere to all Gunton Corporation policies.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience cold calling as a form of business development
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift and carry sales tools that could weigh up to 50 pounds
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- College degree
- Experience in Outside Sales
- Knowledge of blueprints and specifications
