Outside Sales Representative - Base + Commission

Core Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site inspections to assess damage and project scope
  • Educate homeowners on the insurance restoration process
  • Guide customers through claim-related workflows and expectations
  • Maintain consistent communication from first contact through contract
  • Work directly with insurance adjusters to align scope and pricing
  • Identify missing scope, supplements, and code-required items
  • Prepare and present detailed proposals and contracts
  • Close restoration projects in alignment with approved claim scope
  • Generate new opportunities through prospecting and networking
  • Build relationships with roofers, contractors, and insurance-related partners
  • Represent Pinnacle professionally in the field and community

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of outside sales experience (restoration, roofing, or construction preferred)
  • Experience with or willingness to learn insurance-based sales processes
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Comfortable safely using ladders and performing exterior inspections up to three stories high

Technical & Software Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with or willingness to learn: JobNimbus (CRM & project tracking), Hatch (communication and follow-up platform)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $40,000
  • Uncapped Commission Structure
  • Earnings are performance-based and may vary depending on storm activity, claim volume, territory opportunities, referral relationships, and individual production
