Outside Sales Representative - Base + Commission

Core Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site inspections throughout the Nebraska territory to assess damage and project scope.
- Educate homeowners on the insurance restoration process.
- Guide customers through claim-related workflows and expectations.
- Maintain consistent communication from first contact through contract.
- Work directly with insurance adjusters to align scope and pricing.
- Identify missing scope, supplements, and code-required items.
- Prepare and present detailed proposals and contracts.
- Close restoration projects in alignment with approved claim scope.
- Generate new opportunities through prospecting and networking in the Nebraska market.
- Build relationships with roofers, contractors, property managers, and insurance-related partners in Lincoln and surrounding Nebraska communities.
- Represent Pinnacle professionally in the Nebraska field market and local community.
- Follow company processes for lead intake, documentation, and handoff with internal support teams.
- Ensure all job data (photos, notes, measurements) is complete and accurate.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support smooth project execution for Nebraska jobs.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of outside sales experience (restoration, roofing, or construction preferred).
- Experience with or willingness to learn insurance-based sales processes.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Comfortable safely using ladders and performing exterior inspections up to three stories high.
Technical & Software Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with or willingness to learn: JobNimbus (CRM & project tracking), Hatch (communication and follow-up platform).

Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $40,000
- Uncapped Commission Structure.
- Significant income potential is available for self-driven representatives who build strong Nebraska industry partnerships, maintain a consistent pipeline, and develop a long-term book of business.
- Tools, Equipment & Field Support Provided: Company-issued resources such as a cell phone, laptop, gas card, branded apparel, vehicle magnetic signage, measuring tools, inspection tools, ladder, basic hand tools, and other field-support equipment as needed for the role.

Work Environment
- Field-based, in-person role serving Lincoln and the surrounding Nebraska territory.
- The Lincoln office is located in Lincoln, Nebraska; however, this is a field-based role and daily reporting to the office is not required.
- Combination of on-site inspections, client meetings, prospecting, and internal coordination.
