Outside Sales Representative

About the role

Sell top-rated lawn care to customers in the Atlanta Metro area.

Responsibilities

• Measure lawns of potential Simply Organic Turf Care customers
• Follow up with potential customers after measurements are taken via phone, e-mail, and text message
• Build customer relationships
• Able to sit, stand and walk for long periods of time

Requirements

• No experience necessary but customer service experience preferred
• Ability to pass a background check and work in the United States
• May be asked to work on Saturdays when needed
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Valid Georgia driver’s license with no DUI or reckless driving charges (driving record will be checked)

Skills

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Write simple correspondence
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small-group situations
• Basic math: add, subtract, multiply, divide, compute rates, ratios, percentages, and interpret bar graphs
• Apply common-sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram instructions
• Familiarity with cellular phones and Microsoft Office
• Interact comfortably with customers daily by phone and in person
• Handle customer complaints professionally and positively

Certificates and Licenses

• Able to pass Pesticide Applicator License preferred

Work Environment

• Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and outdoor weather conditions
• Moderate noise level

Physical Demands

• Regularly stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
