Outside Sales Representative

Summary

Sell top-rated lawn care to customers in the Atlanta Metro area by performing the following duties and other tasks as desired:

• Measure lawns of potential customers
• Follow up with potential customers after measurements are taken via phone, e-mail, and text message
• Build customer relationships

Qualifications

• No experience necessary but customer service experience preferred
• Candidates must have the ability to pass a background check and work in the United States
• Candidates may be asked to work on Saturdays when needed

Requirements

• Able to sit, stand and walk for long periods of time

Skills

Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Driving Ability: Applicant must have a valid Georgia driver’s license and no DUI or reckless driving charges

Language Ability: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small-group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.

Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios and percentages and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

Technology Skills: Familiarity with the basic operations of cellular phones and Microsoft Office.

Customer Service Skills: Ability to interact comfortably with customers on a daily basis by phone and in person. Ability to deal with customer complaints in a professional and positive manner.

Work Environment
