Outside Sales Representative

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business and grow existing accounts for profitable sales expansion.
  • Identify and qualify prospects aligned with company goals.
  • Research customer needs and recommend suitable products and services.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and share insights with customers.
  • Answer customer inquiries, provide product training, and manage deliveries.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as sales reports, quotes, and record-keeping.
  • Participate in training and assist in onboarding new employees.
  • Review sales data and coordinate collections and account management.

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma or GED; foodservice sales experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in PC skills and MS platforms.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record and insurance.
  • Ability to read, write, speak English; Spanish beneficial.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree, foodservice or restaurant management experience.

Physical & Work Environment

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift up to 20 pounds, and operate a computer.
