Key Responsibilities

• Possess a proven track record in a technical sales role, ideally within the industrial automation sector.
• Develop and deliver compelling presentations that showcase NWA's automation products and services.
• Track and report sales and financial data to management.
• Build strong relationships with OEMs and End Users through aggressive prospecting and lead follow-up.
• Identify and address client automation challenges, proposing tailored solutions.
• Negotiate and close deals, confidently addressing customer concerns and objections.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure optimal results for all NWA customers.

Qualifications

• Proven success in a technical sales role, preferably within the industrial automation industry.
• A pre-existing book of business and established relationships within the Oregon industrial automation market.
• Demonstrated experience and deep knowledge in robotic and valve automation solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• A strong understanding of industrial automation principles and applications.
• The ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise language for customers.
• A self-motivated, results-driven approach with a passion for winning new business.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); Salesforce experience is a plus.
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field is preferred.
