About the role
Mighty Dog Roofing of Greater Chattanooga is an exterior expert and trusted home advisor for both residential and commercial applications. We strive to lead the exterior space with integrity, providing innovative solutions and a customized experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage company leads, referrals, prospecting, performing property inspections, signing contracts, meeting insurance adjusters, writing and providing estimates, and formally contracting projects to generate revenue for the company.
- Work in three key phases: Prospecting, Scoping and Contracting, and Estimating and Supplementing.
- Assist property owners in the insurance claim process after storms and catastrophic events.
- Meet insurance adjusters, scope the project, create an estimate that outlines the damages with the insurance company, and formally contract the project with property owners.
- Estimate and supplement, learning a variety of advanced roofing systems and how to sell and estimate other relevant exterior and interior trades including gutters, siding, windows, as well as other interior related trades if applicable.
- Avoid collecting any progress payments or final checks from the property owner until the project is completed.
- Provide accurate information, changes, feedback on customers, leads, and other relevant information to the company, the company CRM, Sales Managers, Coordinators, Field Trainers, and the Owners.
- Participate in company safety meetings, sales meetings, or training meetings to advance any necessary learning/training to improve as a sales associate.
- Complete and learn the Mighty Dog Roofing University Virtual Training Platform. This training is key to success as an industry sales associate.
Qualifications
- Active verbal & written communication skills internally and externally.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Outside Sales Experience with Lead Generation.
- CRM (or equivalent) Experience.
- Ability to carry and climb a ladder to conduct on roof assessments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exterior or roofing sales or contracting experience preferred, but not required.
- Spanish language skills are preferred, but not required.
