About the role
As an Outside Sales Representative, you will expand our client base and promote our comprehensive fire and life safety solutions. You will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals and properties by providing expert advice and consultation on fire and life safety matters.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with the Owner and our Corporate team, receiving reliable support, clear definition of responsibilities and authority, while also playing a major role in this exciting service launch.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Colorado market.
- Set territory plans to meet and exceed sales goals, contributing to the overall growth of the organization.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients and key stakeholders from making virtual and in-person sales calls.
- Deliver presentations to showcase our fire and life safety solutions.
- Conduct on-site inspections to assess client needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Develop proposals outlining recommended solutions, including cost estimates and timelines.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to provide informed consultations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in the fire and life safety or restaurant industry.
- Effective time management skills and attention to detail.
- Strong listening, verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to convey technical information clearly to clients and prospects.
- Flexibility and adaptability in various work environments.
- Must be able to work independently and with a team effectively.
Qualifications
- Relevant certifications in B2B solution-based selling and/or fire and life safety (preferred).
- Technical knowledge of fire safety systems and equipment (preferred).
- Experience in commercial kitchens, facility services, or related fields (preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Science, Safety Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work comfortably at heights and on rooftops.
- Physically fit, capable of lifting more than 40 pounds and using A-frame ladders.
