Summary

Glass Doctor is a full-service glass company active in auto, home, and commercial glass. We are seeking an energetic and competitive individual to sell our services to various businesses and commercial establishments.

Primary Function

Sell Glass Doctor services to business and commercial establishments, builders and contractors, insurance agencies, property managers, and others as designated by the Owner/Manager. This involves making both cold and scheduled sales calls, discussing the features and benefits of our services, and participating in trade shows.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Compile lists of prospective customers.
  • Travel throughout the Treasure Valley Glass Doctor service area to prospect for new business and grow sales with current customers.
  • Be prepared to discuss in detail the features and benefits of Glass Doctor’s services, utilizing literature and brochures when appropriate.
  • Manage time effectively and prioritize high-value opportunities.
  • Consult regularly with the Owner/Manager to discuss sales results and upcoming opportunities.
  • Participate in setting up and selling at trade shows if requested.
  • Perform other duties incidental to the work described herein.

Education and/or Experience

  • Minimum of high school diploma, college degree preferred.
  • Proven success in a sales position, with work experience in glass, property maintenance, or construction being a plus.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in using standard office applications.

Other Requirements

  • Ability to read and understand procedure manuals, write routine reports and correspondence, and speak effectively in front of groups.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
