About the role

The Outside Sales Representative (OSR) plays a crucial role in sourcing, cultivating, and maintaining relationships with profitable potential and current accounts. This position is highly collaborative, internally and externally facing, and requires a high level of customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth in line with company objectives
  • Maintain an insurable driving record for smooth transportation during customer visits
  • Collaborate with team members to generate profitable business opportunities and ensure a steady flow of incoming work
  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
  • Conduct targeted meetings with new customers to showcase EEI's value proposition and generate leads
  • Acquire new customers and expand EEI's market presence to drive revenue growth
  • Meet or exceed targets for the value of closed orders to contribute to organizational growth

Requirements

  • Key Competencies: Ability to understand and prioritize customer needs, skill in building rapport and establishing strong relationships, effective negotiation and persuasion skills to close deals, in-depth knowledge of the company's products/services and the industry, strong results-driven mindset focused on achieving and surpassing targets, capability to set and pursue sales goals effectively, excellent communication skills to interact positively with diverse audiences, willingness to collaborate with team members for mutual success, maintain an insurable driving record
  • Education And Experience: Mechanical experience preferred, 3+ years of outside sales experience
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds occasionally, must wear required personal protective equipment as needed, occasionally move over equipment

Schedule

Full-time position: Monday through Friday, 7 AM - 4 PM

Pay

$62,500 base salary plus commission
