Outside Sales Representative

About the role

Empire Today is looking for driven, energetic sales professionals to meet face-to-face with customers in their homes and help them find the best flooring products. You’ll work with pre-qualified leads (customers who have already called Empire for an in-home estimate) generally within a 1-hour radius, and leverage the strength of a well-known brand to generate additional referrals and prospects. This is a 100% commission-based opportunity with uncapped earnings, performance bonuses, and incentives.

Outside Sales Consultants on average earn $50k–$70k in their first year, with top performers earning well over $100k. Commissions are paid weekly, and there is no earnings cap.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home flooring estimates for customers who have requested appointments
• Generate a minimum of 2 self-sourced installed sales per month (higher commission rate)
• Attend in-person and virtual sales meetings and training sessions
• Maintain availability for evening and weekend appointments
• Deliver excellent customer service and professional presentations using electronic tablets and measuring devices
• Present professionally in Empire-branded apparel

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and a vehicle with room for flooring sample boards
• Direct Seller Contract
• Ability to use electronic tablets and measuring devices for sales presentations
