Outside Sales Representative
About the role
ADESA, a Carvana owned company, operates over 50 locations nationwide. Our services include auto auctions, repair/reconditioning, and market hub distribution centers. We serve a diverse inventory of vehicles ranging from retail to commercial, OEM, and more. We're looking for driven individuals who want to join our team and help us grow!
Responsibilities
- Generate new business leads and close deals
- Execute ADESA's Dealer Sales strategy
- Possess territory management experience
- Manage accounts to ensure growth in vehicles sold and purchased
- Engage with customers and employees in a transparent, reliable, and positive manner
- Demonstrate knowledge of products and services
- Maximize technology
- Work in a fast-paced business environment

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- College education preferred
- Proven success in outside B2B sales
- Territory management experience
- Automotive experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail
- Confidentiality and integrity while handling sensitive information
- Proven ability to manage deliverables and metrics against aggressive targets and timelines
- Proficiency with computer systems and applications
- Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license meeting ADESA's requirements

- The physical activity requirements of the position range from Light to Medium Physical Work.
- The position involves frequent standing, watching, touching, listening, walking, talking, and potential running, jumping, yelling, or other rapid or forceful movement in emergency situations.
- The visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception, and field of vision comparable to definitions for Clerical, Administrative, Machine Operators (including inspection) positions.
- The physical working conditions involve temperature changes, outside weather conditions, slightly elevated ambient noise levels, and minor atmospheric conditions affecting skin or respiratory systems, such as fumes, odors, and dusts associated with internal and external service station/convenience food and petroleum dispensing operations.
