What You’ll Do
- Set and achieve ambitious monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and margin goals.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by anticipating and addressing needs related to products, pricing, availability, and credit terms.
- Recommend products and solutions tailored to customer needs to drive sales and market growth.
- Build relationships with existing customers while actively prospecting and developing new accounts.
- Conduct product demonstrations, explain features, and close sales.
- Provide pricing, quotes, credit terms, warranties, and delivery timelines.
- Follow up post-sale to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly.
- Prepare drawings, estimates, and bids that meet specific customer requirements.
- Distribute product samples and catalogs to support sales efforts.
- Identify new business opportunities through networking, trade shows, industry events, and referrals.
- Cook up delivery and installation of products and equipment.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and product innovations.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms; prepare sales agreements and order documentation.
- Maintain accurate sales records, budgets, and performance reports; track and report key performance metrics.
- Evaluate customer creditworthiness and gather necessary credit information.
- Submit orders to manufacturers and monitor stock levels, assisting with reorders as needed.
- Support retail partners by planning and recommending product displays, promotions, and advertising strategies.
- Participate actively in sales meetings and collaborate with team members.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Sales Manager to support overall business success.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Experience: 2–4 years of sales experience, preferably in a related industry
- Skills & Strengths: Strong relationship-building and customer service skills, Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities, Ability to analyze sales data and market trends, Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills, Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
