About the role

Join FCX Performance, a company under Applied Industrial Technologies, as an Outside Sales Representative with Simone Engineering. Grow your territory and earnings by bringing in new business and developing repeat business relationships within your existing accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Determine customer needs through a consultative approach
  • Call on engineers, maintenance personnel, and others to identify their needs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers at all levels
  • Develop and manage a sales territory
  • Establish rapport and build trust with potential clients
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Manage and close sales deals
  • Provide technical support and recommendations based on customer needs

Requirements

  • Outside industrial sales experience within the industrial marketplace
  • Knowledgeable with valves, pumps, instrumentation; flow control products is a bonus
  • Ability to establish rapport and build solid relationships at all levels of customer organizations
  • Proven experience and success in developing new business, building repeat business, and managing a sales territory
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Computer skills and Profit 21 is a plus

Pay

$80,000-$100,000.00 annually, including a base salary between $65,000-$75,000 first year, depending on experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Equivalent experience may be substituted for degree requirement

  • Ability to manage a sales territory effectively
