About the role

ABC Supply, the nation’s largest wholesale distributor of exterior and interior building products, seeks talented, enthusiastic sales professionals to join our team. This role involves selling residential and commercial building materials to contractor customers and building strategic relationships with prospective customers.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and manage customer relationships
  • Utilize sales reports and other data to recognize sales opportunities in customer buying patterns
  • Making cold calls to prospective customers
  • Schedule and follow up with appointments with prospective customers
  • Follow up with customers and provide solutions for any service concerns
  • Train customers and their teams on various product lines and services
  • Aid customers in the credit application process
  • Ensure past due bills are paid and collect payments when necessary

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years' experience in siding, window, and/or door sales/installation
  • Previous experience with roofing material sales is strongly preferred
  • College degree (Business, Sales or other related field) or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Specific industry knowledge, including familiarity with product lines and the overall building contractor process, is preferred but not required
  • Valid driver’s license, own reliable transportation, pass MVR check, and vehicle insurance meeting company requirements
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Superior time management and organization skills
  • Bilingual skillset is preferred but not required

Pay

Salary Range (Base + Commission): $45,000-$125,000 annually. Actual earnings can vary depending on experience and sales performance.

Disclaimer

In accordance with local law, associates employed at locations in Seattle, Spokane, or Tacoma, accrue 1 hour of sick pay per every 30 hours worked, starting after 90 days of employment. Up to 72 hours accrued time may be carried over into the next year.
