Outside Sales Rep Trainee Temporary
About the role
Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an Outside Sales Representative Trainee to join its Jumpstart Program. This 9-month training course provides hands-on experience encompassing all aspects of the Sunbelt Rentals sales process. Trainees receive training on the company's vast array of products and services, blending classroom instruction, job shadowing, and hands-on activities as they rotate throughout the business's lines of business. Successfully completing the program positions you for a career in sales.

- Participate in classroom training, job shadowing, and hands-on activities as you rotate throughout the business
- Spend time in each of Sunbelt Rentals' lines of business to understand each one's unique offerings
Requirements
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Must be open to relocation upon successful completion of the program
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or Associate's degree plus 1 year of related experience
- Previous experience in Sales or Customer Service preferred
- Must have a valid driver's license with reliable transportation and acceptable driving record history
Training & travel
This position includes a 90-day training period during which the employee will travel approximately 75% of the time nationwide (typically three weeks on the road followed by one week off). During this period, the employee will receive hands-on training in the installation of temporary fabric structures and must be able to pass a drug test.
