Responsibilities

  • Takes responsibility for identifying and developing new business opportunities.
  • Develops and maintains customer contacts.
  • Solicits opportunities for additional company involvement.
  • Provides follow up contacts to assure customer satisfaction and to provide required advice in various technical and product capability areas.
  • Solicits new business opportunities on a routine basis for expansion of the company involvement at customer locations.

Requirements

  • Industry and territory knowledge required for maximum potential.
  • Ability to manage well-established existing customer relationships and prospect for future opportunities in trading areas served.
    • College courses in sales, marketing or business administration preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, self-starter, personable, extroverted personality.
  • Well organized.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to access customer business locations.
  • Must be able to operate an automobile.
