Responsibilities
- Takes responsibility for identifying and developing new business opportunities.
- Develops and maintains customer contacts.
- Solicits opportunities for additional company involvement.
- Provides follow up contacts to assure customer satisfaction and to provide required advice in various technical and product capability areas.
- Solicits new business opportunities on a routine basis for expansion of the company involvement at customer locations.
Requirements
- Industry and territory knowledge required for maximum potential.
- Ability to manage well-established existing customer relationships and prospect for future opportunities in trading areas served.
- College courses in sales, marketing or business administration preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Self-motivated, self-starter, personable, extroverted personality.
- Well organized.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to access customer business locations.
- Must be able to operate an automobile.
