Responsibilities

  • Takes initial contact with prospective customers and identifies new business opportunities.
  • Maintains and develops customer contacts to solicit additional company involvement.
  • Follows up with customers to ensure satisfaction and provides advice in technical and product capabilities.
  • Solicits new business opportunities on a regular basis to expand company involvement at customer locations.

Requirements

  • Industry and territory knowledge for maximum potential.
  • Ability to manage existing customer relationships and prospect for future opportunities.
    • College courses in sales, marketing, or business administration preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and self-starter personality.
  • Personable and extroverted.
  • Well organized.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to access customer business locations.
  • Must be able to operate an automobile.
