Established Responsibilities
- Takes initial contact with prospective customers
- Identifies and develops new business opportunities
- Maintains customer contacts and solicits opportunities for additional company involvement
- Provides follow-up contacts to ensure customer satisfaction and offer advice in technical and product capability areas
- Solicits new business opportunities on a regular basis to expand company involvement at customer locations
Qualifications
- Industry and territory knowledge for maximum potential
- Ability to manage established customer relationships and prospect for future opportunities
- College courses in sales, marketing, or business administration preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated, self-starter, personable, extroverted personality
- Well organized
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to access customer business locations
- Must be able to operate an automobile
