Outside Sales Contractor

About the role

Outside Sales Contractor position located in Dubuque, Iowa 52001. 1‑year assignment with possible extension based on performance and budget.

Responsibilities

• Search for restaurants in an assigned territory using personal research and Salesforce.
• Make cold calls and visit businesses in person to identify decision makers.
• Achieve acquisition goals: 3 restaurants in month 1, then 5 per month in months 2 and 3.
• Follow up via social media, phone, and email to secure meetings.
• Build relationships with restaurant owners and close new restaurant accounts.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2+ years of successful outbound/field sales (required).
• Experience with face‑to‑face selling, walking into businesses, meeting owners/managers, and presenting the service (required).
• Own reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license (required).

Skills

• Door‑to‑door, local business, or restaurant sales experience (preferred).
• Experience with Salesforce (preferred).

Pay

$29 per hour to start, plus uncapped commissions; mileage reimbursed.

Schedule

Monday‑Friday, 9 am‑5 pm with some flexibility; hybrid schedule of 3 days in the field and 2 days remote (top performers spend more time in the field).
