About the role

As a Pest Control Consultant, you will sell the company’s industry-leading pest management services and products to new and existing residential customers while maintaining a customer-focused service to grow the business. You’ll serve as the face of our national brand in your local community, protecting homes and families by assessing customer needs and delivering expert pest control solutions.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect homes for pests, pest harborage, and pest entries
• Based on assessment findings, sell pest control solutions and preventative maintenance for residential customers
• Collaborate with the Customer Service Center, Inside Sales department, and Technicians to identify and pursue increased opportunities
• Partner with the Branch Manager to identify revenue streams within the current customer base and service specialist engagement
• Develop proposals for customers to resolve existing pest issues and propose additional enhancements to household pest services
• Complete home diagrams using the Sales CRM and provide them to ensure clear understanding of customer homes and potential challenges
• Follow up on past proposals to close sales opportunities
• Provide expert knowledge to new service installations to ensure job completion meets standards
• Complete daily activities and sales performance tracking using the company sales CRM

Essential Job Functions

• Move up to 10 lbs. regularly and 11–20 lbs. frequently (lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or repositioning objects)
• Regularly sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl; go up and down stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles; maintain balance while walking, standing, or crouching on narrow, slippery, or moving surfaces
• Work in small spaces such as basements, crawl spaces, and attics
• Safely operate a motor vehicle and maintain cleanliness of vehicles and equipment
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including an OSHA-compliant respirator, as required
• Work in confined spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• A valid driver’s license from your current state of residence (Company vehicle and gas card provided)
• Strong social, customer service, and communication skills
• 1–2 years of pest technician or sales experience preferred
• Willingness to travel up to 100% of the time within assigned territory(s)
