Full Job Description Our Client, a leading wholesale distributor of plumbing and HVAC supplies for over 70 years, is seeking a Plumbing Field Sales representative serving contractors in the New Castle County, Delaware and Cecil County, Maryland markets. The ideal candidate will possess the following: Maximize sales within assigned territory and customer baseDetermine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutionsRecommend alternate products based on specifications and availabilityIncrease sales by cross-selling, add-on sales and offering promotional sales items as well as new productsParticipate with manager in updating territory, sales opportunities and goalsPrepare and present sales presentations to new and existing customersAggressively seek additional sales by opening new accounts, following up on sales leads, and visiting construction sites in assigned territoryAnalyze customer sales reports for trends and new business opportunitiesPrepare, present, and follow up on quotes in a timely mannerWork with other departments to resolve customer issuesIdentify trends in customer requirements and monitor customer satisfactionParticipate in company and vendor sponsored sales promotionsDetermine cost effective customer call schedule based on customer needs, location, and frequency of visitsDetermine most cost effective and appropriate delivery options Minimum Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of Plumbing Sales experienceAbility to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environmentAbility to develop and maintain customer relationshipsStrong sales aptitude with a positive and professional imageMust be flexible, organized and self-motivated with an attention to detailExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Ability to manage time effectively Plumbing Knowledge Base/technical Skills: Plumbing fixtures and componentsPlumbing and gas piping systemsWater heaters - tankless and tank-typeRead and interpret blueprints and specificationsStrong technical background with the ability to troubleshoot customer problems Benefits: Competitive SalaryMedicalDentalVisionPaid Time Off (Vacation, Sick, Flex)Seven Paid Holidays401(K) with employer matching100% Employer Paid Life Insurance PolicyShort Term Disabilityand more!
