Outside Sales

About This Role

Straightline Contractor and Industrial Supply is seeking an outside sales professional with experience calling on commercial construction trade customers or industrial/manufacturing customers. We are looking for a motivated self starter to join our team. Will be responsible for growing existing customers and prospecting for new business. No overnight travel, local territory. Competitive compensation package.

What You'll Do

• Cultivating and managing customer relationships
• Making sales calls to prospective customers.
• Maintaining and submitting CRM reports
• Following sales leads and scheduling appointments with prospective customers
• Following up with customers and providing solutions, should a service concern arise
• Providing training to customers and their teams on various product lines and services

Requirements

• Specific industry knowledge, including both familiarity with product lines and the overall commercial building contractor process.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Superior time management and organization skills
• Attends store meetings and training sessions as required
• Have a strong work ethic, self-motivated and able to work independently.
• A passion for winning and a desire for a career in sales.
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Must have valid driver's license and be able to pass MVR check for vehicle insurance

• Has proven success in a sales territory
• Be able to hit the ground running.

Benefits

• This Outside Sales role pays $45,000 to $80,000/Yr.
