Outside Sales Account Manager - Industrial Component Service and Repair

About the role

Develop new business and manage relationships with existing customers within an assigned territory in South Bend, IN and surrounding areas (Portage to Fort Wayne). This is a home-based role requiring local presence in the territory.

Responsibilities

• Work with your manager to create a sales plan to develop new customers and maintain existing accounts
• Build and maintain long-term business relationships
• Perform full-cycle prospecting: qualify leads, make cold calls, and deliver sales presentations
• Regularly make in-person sales calls to existing customers and new prospects
• Collaborate with customer service and technical support teams to meet and exceed sales goals
• Use CRM tools to plan and manage time and territory
• Conduct on-site customer visits in industrial settings, including moderate to long-distance driving
• Occasionally lift items weighing up to 50 lbs

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, or engineering OR 2-year technical degree in an industrial discipline, mechanics, or related field (preferred)
• 2+ years of industrial sales experience, with preference for experience selling repair services in electronics, hydraulics, robotics, servos, or mechanical components
• Experience with rebuilding and repair of hydraulic equipment (mobile or industrial machinery) is a plus
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
• Computer proficiency
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to travel overnight as required
