Outside Sales Account Manager - Industrial Component Service and Repair

About the role

Paragon Technologies, a SunSource company, provides world‑class service, repair, and re‑manufacturing for electronics, hydraulics, robotics, servos, and mechanical components. This sales position focuses on developing new business and managing relationships with existing customers within an assigned territory covering Cartersville, GA and surrounding areas west of Atlanta. The role is home‑based in that vicinity.

Responsibilities

• Work with your manager to create a sales plan to develop new customers and maintain existing accounts.
• Successfully build and maintain long‑term business relationships.
• Full‑cycle prospecting activities including qualification of leads, cold calls, and sales presentations.
• Regularly make in‑person sales calls to existing customers and new prospects.
• Collaborate with knowledgeable customer service and technical support teams to meet and exceed goals.
• Utilize tools, resources, and CRM to plan and manage time and territory.
• Make on‑site customer visits in industrial settings, driving moderate to long distances.
• Lift items weighing up to 50 lb as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, engineering, or a 2‑year technical degree in an industrial discipline is preferred.
• 2+ years industrial sales experience, preferably selling repair services for electronics, hydraulics, robotics, servos, or mechanical components.
• Experience with rebuilding and repair of hydraulic equipment for mobile and industrial machinery is a plus.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer proficiency.
• Valid driver’s license; overnight travel may be required.
