About the role

As a Hydraulic Service & Repair Account Manager, you’ll develop new business, grow existing accounts, and provide value-added fluid power and repair solutions throughout Omaha, NE and surrounding areas. SunSource offers a broad portfolio of solutions, including hydraulic component repair, industrial electronic repair, machine upgrades and retrofit kits, hydraulic power units, filtration, lubrication, fluid conveyance, and custom-designed manifolds.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Sales Growth: Develop new business, expand existing accounts, and achieve or exceed sales goals
  • Build Customer Relationships: Become a trusted technical resource by understanding customer needs and providing effective solutions
  • Manage Your Territory: Work autonomously to plan sales activities, identify opportunities, and grow your territory
  • Provide Technical Solutions: Recommend value-added products and services that improve customer operations and solve service and repair challenges
  • Deliver Exceptional Service: Leverage SunSource resources to provide responsive, solutions-focused customer support
  • Continually Learn: Stay current on products, technology, and industry solutions to better serve customers

This role will routinely make on-site customer visits in industrial settings requiring the ability to meet with customers at their locations and drive moderate to long distances. At times may be required to lift items weighing as much as 50lbs.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Technical or Bachelor's degree in related field is preferred
  • Fluid Power certification is a plus
  • 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in a mobile or industrial service and repair environment, or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of agriculture, construction, or industrial manufacturing equipment preferred
  • Field technician or industrial maintenance experience preferred
  • Experience with value-added sales and solution selling
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial, competitive, and results-driven mindset
  • Computer proficiency and ability to learn and use CRM tools
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the territory (overnight travel may be required)
