About the Role
MES Life Safety is seeking an Outside Sales Representative (Part-Time or Full-Time), residing in the state of Arkansas covering the entire state except for Benton, Carroll, Washington, and Madison counties. You will play a crucial role in driving our success while enjoying the opportunity for professional growth within our organization. Training will be provided by MES.
Travel is expected within the assigned territory (about 50% - 70%), with some nights and weekends required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to potential clients.
- Engage in direct sales activities, including cold calling and lead generation, to expand the customer base.
- Manage assigned territory effectively, ensuring consistent follow-up with leads and existing customers.
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners and clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials that support sales initiatives.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales/direct sales, preferably in the Fire industry.
- Strong skills in lead generation and territory management.
- Ability to conduct engaging product demos that effectively communicate value propositions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building rapport with clients.
- Proficient in analyzing data to inform sales strategies and decision-making processes.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset, capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with CRM software is a plus but not required.
