About the Role
Covering North Dakota, you’ll build relationships, solve problems, and keep critical fleets moving.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers in your territory
- Conduct outbound calls and on-site visits to promote and sell parts and services
- Recommend aftermarket parts and service solutions to improve equipment uptime
- Respond quickly and professionally to customer inquiries
- Document customer activity and strategy in our CRM/CXM system
- Stay current on equipment and part offerings to support customer needs
- Provide accurate lead times and pricing to set clear expectations
- Enter fleet and customer data in our ERP platform
- Work collaboratively with branch teams, sharing customer insights and needs
- Attend required training and meetings to stay aligned and informed
- Process parts orders accurately and efficiently
- Represent MacQueen with a polished, professional appearance
Requirements
- Experience in outside sales, parts sales, or customer-facing roles (equipment industry preferred)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently, manage a territory, and prioritize effectively
- High attention to detail with strong follow-through
- Technical aptitude and interest in learning equipment parts and systems
- Positive attitude, team mindset, and customer-first approach
ADA Requirements
- Stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, crawl, twist, reach or otherwise move frequently
- Occasional repetitive motion and grasping
- Occasional climbing to reach areas on equipment or racks
- Lift, move or otherwise transfer up to 50 lbs. occasionally, >20 lbs. frequently
- Typically sits, grasps items and performs keyboarding for frequent operation of a computer
- Exposure to typical machine shop physical hazards which may include moving mechanical parts
- Travel by car occasionally

Pay
Base plus commission for an estimated total compensation of $76k–$114k annually.
