Outside Loan Officer

Responsibilities

• Generate a thriving book of self-generated business
• Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the local market
• Develop and maintain relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other referral partners
• Guide clients through the loan application process, offering expert advice and assistance
• Analyze financial information to determine loan eligibility and present various loan options to clients
• Attend industry events, community functions, and networking opportunities to enhance professional connections
• Participate in local organizations to increase visibility and generate business leads
• Maintain a robust pipeline of loan applications while ensuring timely and accurate communication with clients
• Collaborate with internal teams to expedite the loan approval and closing process
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the loan process, ensuring a positive experience for clients
• Address client concerns and inquiries in a timely and professional manner

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a loan officer with a successful track record
• Active NMLS license and knowledge of current industry regulations
• Prominent ability to generate and close mortgage loans
• Strong understanding of loan programs and products
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a target-driven, fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in using loan origination software and Microsoft Office suite
