About the role
The Outside Industrial Sales Representative will manage key relationships with accounts, end users, contractors, and engineers in the industrial sector of assigned territory. Key responsibilities include prospecting new clients, forecasting sales, expanding the client base, and meeting or exceeding sales quotas. The role requires developing innovative sales and product strategies tailored to customer goals, attending meetings and training to stay informed on market trends, and reviewing technical documents and project specifications to facilitate communication between the customer and the business.
Key Duties And Essential Functions
- Act as primary contact for calling on key industrial accounts, end users, contractors, and engineers to build strong relationships in the industrial market
- Possess experience managing multiple customers in an account and/or territorial environment, and the ability to bond and build rapport in a team environment
- Be self-motivated and driven, possess exceptional organizational skills, ability to listen and understand pain points
- Have proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, and familiarity with navigation of an ERP software for territory reporting
- Show great people phone skills, dependability, and passion for providing customers with world-class customer service

Pay
The pay range for this position is $50,000 - $75,000 annually.
Schedule
The role requires working more than 8 hours a day and sometimes on weekends based on customer requirements and workload.
