About the Role
As an Outside Commercial Sales Representative, you will expand our presence throughout the Greater Denver Region by developing new business opportunities and growing them into a long-term book of business. You'll work with organizations across the commercial, industrial, transportation, construction, and energy sectors, helping them identify solutions that improve operational performance and reliability. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional who enjoys building relationships, solving customer challenges, and being rewarded for results.
Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and secure new commercial accounts within your assigned territory.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue goals.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers and influencers across multiple industries.
- Deliver exceptional service and ongoing support to customers.
- Identify opportunities to expand product and service offerings within your book of business.
- Become a trusted advisor by understanding customer operations and challenges.
- Conduct in-person customer meetings and site visits to assess needs.
- Recommend fuel, lubricant, logistics, and related solutions tailored to customer requirements.
- Prepare and present professional proposals, pricing, and contracts.
- Partner with Operations, Dispatch, Customer Service, and Leadership teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Maintain accurate account activity, forecasts, and pipeline updates in Salesforce CRM.
- Track performance metrics and contribute to team sales objectives.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of successful outside B2B sales experience.
- Proven ability to prospect, develop, and close new business opportunities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience utilizing CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in fuel, lubricants, transportation, industrial, construction, manufacturing, or energy-related industries.
- Strong understanding of consultative selling and account management practices.
- Demonstrated history of achieving or exceeding sales goals.
