About the role
Vera French is seeking a Therapist to join their Outpatient Therapy Team, focusing on children. They operate two clinics in Davenport and Bettendorf.
Responsibilities
- Provide intake/evaluation services as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Complete intake paperwork
- Assess and present cases
- Assign and provide ongoing therapy to assigned clients (including families)
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings
- Assess own case load and workload
- Collaborate with supervisor/coordinator on special interest areas
- Contribute to consultation and education sessions
- Facilitate special interest groups such as assertive training, family therapy, play therapy, and summer camps
Requirements
- Master's degree in a related field
- Licensed Master's Social Worker (LMHC) or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LISW) in the State of Iowa
- Previous experience in mental health, including individual and group therapy
- Excellent public relations and communication skills
