About the role
Family First Community Services LLC is a community behavioral health clinic in Charlotte, NC. We provide mental health and/or substance use treatment to child, adolescent, and adult populations in Mecklenburg County and surrounding areas. We are seeking an Outpatient Therapist to deliver in-person and virtual mental health services to clients across all age groups. The successful candidate will have a background in mental health counseling and be proficient in evidence-based treatments such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy. The ideal candidate will assess client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychotherapy to individuals, families, and groups.
- Assess mental health issues and diagnose mental health disorders.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for clients.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of clients.
- Provide crisis intervention services as needed.
- Offer education and support to clients and their families.
- Collaborate with other professionals to coordinate client services.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field (required).
- Professional license to provide mental health services (e.g., LCSW, LCMHC, LPA, LMFT, or associate license of these) (required).
- Ability to reliably commute to or relocate to Charlotte, NC 28211 before starting work (required).
- Willingness and availability to provide in-person services at our office when needed.
- Ability to work with both virtual and in-person clients.
- Minimum caseload of 10 clients.
- Must pass a 7-year background check and pre-employment drug screening.
Pay
Rates vary based on the service code. For example, 90837 starts at $60 per session.
Schedule
- Contract (1099) position.
- Caseload and in-person availability determined by individual capacity and schedule.
