Responsibilities
- Ensure clients are seen in a timely manner.
- Gather and review documentation for clients.
- Manage the coordination of client appointments to enhance the customer experience.
- Collect, review, and confirm the accuracy of client’s demographic and insurance profile setup.
- Address calls, voicemails, and follow-up return calls from clients.
- Collect and enter client insurance information into the electronic medical records system.
- Create initial appointment schedules for clients.
- Coordinate initial client contacts and related intake processes.
- Establish client fees in accordance with agency guidelines and communicate this information clearly to clients and/or families.
- Affirm scheduling preferences (face-to-face or Zoom) meet the providers’ specific and client accessibility needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of clerical experience or scheduling activities.
- Experience in healthcare office is preferred.
- Reliable transportation and ability to work hours as assigned.
- Pass Level 2 Background through DCF and AHCA Clearinghouse.
