Outpatient Registered Nurse II, Primary Care at Springside

About the role

ChristianaCare's Primary Care at Springside is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse II to deliver high-quality, safe, and evidence-based patient care. This role is responsible for achieving optimal patient outcomes through both independent practice and collaborative teamwork within the clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate, patient-centered care to pediatric through geriatric populations in both virtual and in-person settings, using strong clinical knowledge to assess and address patient needs.
• Deliver services such as wellness visits, care management, point-of-care testing, and triaging patients, while collaborating closely with providers to support examinations, procedures, and efficient clinic operations.
• Serve as a key liaison among patients, providers, and staff, ensuring clear communication, coordinating workflow, and responding to urgent situations.
• Support staff development through training and mentorship, participates in quality and compliance initiatives, and contributes to process improvement efforts—all while maintaining a strong focus on safety, patient education, and high-quality care delivery.

Requirements

• A graduate of a state approved or National League of Nursing accredited School of Nursing.
• Registered Nurse licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, or New Jersey depending on location of employment.
• Two years' experience as a Registered Nurse, physician office experience is preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (AND) will be considered with an agreement of completion of BSN in 3 years.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Pay

Hourly Pay Range: $38.22 - $61.16
