Outpatient Psychiatrist - No call/No weekends - Johnson City, Tennessee

About the role

The position involves consulting with new patients, managing medications, and providing counseling to community members and health team dependents, primarily for patients aged 17 and older.

Responsibilities

• Consulting with new patients
• Managing medications
• Providing counseling to community members and health team dependents
• Working within a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, advanced practice providers, and therapists
• Utilizing an integrated EPIC electronic health record system
• Offering outpatient services with Tele-Health

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Experience in outpatient settings preferred but not required
• Strong clinical skills and excellent communication abilities

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Current license to practice medicine in Tennessee
• Passing scores on the USMLE or COMLEX
