About the role

Gulfport Behavioral Health System (a UHS facility) is a 90-bed psychiatric hospital located on the beautiful MS Gulf Coast, offering child, adolescent, adult, substance abuse, and military service behavioral health programs and treatment services, including inpatient and outpatient care for individuals seeking treatment for mental illness.

Position Summary: Join a team where the Outpatient Program Therapist plans, provides, coordinates, documents, and evaluates direct and indirect social services to adult and adolescent IOP/PHP patients in accordance with established methods and procedures of the hospital. Will conduct group therapy, family therapy, case management, treatment planning, rounding with clinical staff, discharge/care planning and follow-up, and resource development/assistance.
