Outpatient Program/Intake Nurse - RN

About the Role

Via Linda Behavioral Hospital is an innovative behavioral health hospital offering a full continuum of inpatient and outpatient services to the people of Scottsdale and the greater Phoenix, Arizona metro area. Our 120-bed facility provides specialized mental health services and substance use treatment for teens, adults, and older adults experiencing issues such as depression, anxiety, personality disorders, and co-occurring addictions.

Responsibilities

• Assume primary responsibility for the assessment, treatment planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for assigned patients within the Outpatient facility.
• Conduct Intake assessments and manage referral sources.
• Assume leadership responsibilities at the unit level.
• Demonstrate mastery of clinical skills related to patients' mental health and physical health needs.

Requirements

• Current license to practice nursing in Arizona or compact privileges.
• Preferred one year of experience working in a psychiatric setting, preferably in an Outpatient PHP or IOP facility.
• Must have or be able to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
