Outpatient Physical Therapist
The Full-Time Outpatient Physical Therapist position at Hot Springs Health Program (HSHP) in Marshall, North Carolina, offers a unique opportunity to practice physical therapy in a supportive, collaborative environment. About the Role
HSHP seeks a compassionate and patient-centered Full-Time Physical Therapist to join their growing outpatient rehabilitation department. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to exceptional patient-centered care and a desire to work in a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and establish individualized treatment plans.
- Assess strength, range of motion, balance, gait, posture, motor control, and functional mobility.
- Implement evidence-based treatment interventions designed to improve function and achieve patient goals.
- Develop and progress home exercise programs.
- Educate patients and caregivers regarding treatment plans, injury prevention, and self-management strategies.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation and billing.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care.
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants as required.
- Participate in department meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing education activities.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and all applicable federal, state, and organizational regulations.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Current North Carolina Physical Therapy License (or eligibility for licensure).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient-centered care.
- Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred.
- Manual therapy experience preferred.
- Experience treating neurological conditions preferred.
