Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - FT Days | Venice Rehab

The Role

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide care to our diverse patient population at PAM Health. The ideal candidate will have either prior inpatient hospital experience or a strong commitment to learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care, planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of Physical Therapy
• Collaborate with the Physical Therapist to develop and implement treatment plans
• Assess patient conditions and progress, adjusting treatments as necessary
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately
• Participate in the ongoing development and improvement of physical therapy services
• Work in multiple settings within the PAM Health system

Requirements

• Current PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic resides
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• One year of clinical experience preferred

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited PTA program
• Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
