Responsibilities
- Supports consumer marketing and public awareness through participation in community events, educational lectures, and other extensions of clinical expertise to the community.
- Implements individualized treatment plans based on physical therapy evaluations and through consideration of practice standards, recommended techniques, insurance guidelines, and patient needs.
- Modifies treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments in consultation with physical therapist.
- Collects patient data and communicates with the physical therapists regarding discharge recommendations when maximum benefit has been achieved.
- Documents patient care accurately, completely, and timely using measurable and objective terminology, following standards of practice, insurance guidelines, and department/hospital policies.
- Charges patients accurately and timely according to CPT code format, price file, and insurance guidelines.
- Oversees the care provided by rehabilitation aides according to established regulations and practice standards, and may involve coordinating activities of rehabilitation aides, students, and other support personnel.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy
- Treating Ortho population experience (preferred)
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS)
- Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) certification or equivalent
Qualifications
- Education: Associate's degree in Physical Therapy
- Experience: Treating Ortho population experience (preferred)

Pay
The anticipated minimum pay rate for this position is $25/hour.
Schedule
Full time, Monday - Friday 10am - 7pm and sometimes half day Saturday.
