Outpatient Phlebotomist Float- Patient Service Representative
About the role
This position will require availability to float to all of our locations listed below. Locations Include: Tacoma, Poulsbo, Federal Way, Olympia, Gig Harbor, Kent, Sumner, Bonney Lake, Auburn, Frederickson, Spanaway, Puyallup, Eatonville and Lakewood. This position is also eligible to receive the float premium along with mileage reimbursement.
Responsibilities
- Supports Lab Services by performing patient registration and order entry
- Performs phlebotomy and specimen processing
- May be responsible for specimen pick-up in offices, report sorting and delivery, supply delivery, and other tasks related to the operation of the specific location
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Current Medical Assistant-Certified, Medical Assistant-Phlebotomy Certification, or Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist eligible - must complete the training and submit application within 90 days of hire
- Completion of phlebotomy course or training preferred
- Phlebotomy experience preferred
- Previous experience dealing with the public preferred

Pay and Benefits
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental, and retirement benefits, and paid time off. The pay scale is $24.40 - $37.14 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
